Our Story

Vintage Timepiece Restorations was founded by John McNair out of a passion for watchmaking as a hobbyist. After years of restoring and preserving vintage watches for his own personal collection as well as those of family and friends he began selling his extensive collection of acquired used and New Old Stock components. The rest is history as VTR has continued to grow into an opportunity for watchmakers from around the globe to be able to interact in an extremely personalized environment for their exact restoration needs. Our now extensive holding of used and New Old Stock continues to grow and be accessible to the luxury timepiece restoration community for watchmakers by watchmakers.
